"GOOD MORNING AMERICA"
RETURNS TO P.S.8!

On Monday September 12th, a crew from "Good Morning America" returned to P.S. 8 to film a segment that will air mid-October on ABC, produced by Sandra Aiken. P.S. 8 students of different ages stayed after school to participate in a simulation designed to show how toxins can spread around a classroom. The crew placed a non-toxic powder, only visible under black light, around the room and told the children to play in the classroom as usual. After ten to fifteen minutes, the crew turned off the lights and found glowing traces of the pretend ?pesticides? all over the children?s hands, faces, and clothing.
