Steamin' Ahead!

Silent Auction to Celebrate 100 years at PS 8

A Silent Auction benefiting PS 8 and honoring Claire Mirarchi and Judy Stanton of the Brooklyn Heights Association will be on Wednesday, March 14, from 7 to 9 pm at Barge Music. Tickets are $100 through to February 28; $125 from March 1 and at the door.

Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Come enjoy live music, a magnificent view and dozens of exciting auction items, including a one-of-a-kind tasting of wines from a collector's cellar, breakfast and a private viewing with MoMa Director Glenn Lowry, a sunset sailing cruise of New York harbor and Caldecott-winner Paul Zelinsky's original artwork in celebration of PS 8's 100th birthday.

All proceeds benefit the children of PS8: the education they enjoy in the classroom, the programs that enrich their lives in art, science, dance, and music, including the one-of-a-kind program brought to PS8 by Barge Music.
