Welcome Back!

Greetings all. We hope you have received the summer mailing and have had a chance to review all the important information. In getting ready for the 1st day of school, Tuesday, September 4th, some questions have been directed to the PTA.

We spoke with Bob Mikos who provided answers to the following questions:

1. What if I do not know my child's/childrens' class assignment?
There will be several PS 8 staff members to assist you. They will be at the school entrances and in the auditorium with class lists.

2. Will the kindergarten students have lunch before their early dismissal?
Yes, they will.

3. Can you please clarify the early dismissal plan for Sept 4 & 5 for the kindergarten students?
Kindergarten students will be dismissed from their classrooms, starting at 11:45, and should be completed by 12 noon.

We look forward to seeing you on September 4th.
