PS 8 will have Pre-Kindergarten classes in September
Pre-K will be a full day, from 8:40am to 3pm.
Principal Phillips reported at tonight's school meeting that PS 8 would have two Pre-K classes in September, maintaining the current offering the school now has of 36 seats.
Here is what you need to know if you are want your child to attend Pre-K at PS 8 this September:
- Everyone must submit a completed application. Even if you gave your name to the school as being interested in Pre-K, you MUST COMPLETE an application for your child.
- The application deadline is thisFriday, April 18.
- Your application must be postmarked no later than this Friday, April 18.
- The school code to put on the application for PS 8 is 13K008.
- If you want your child to attend PS 8, it must be the first code you list.
- Priority for enrollment will be given as follows:
- First to those children who already have siblings attending PS 8, whether family is zoned or not for PS 8; and
- Second to those children who are zoned for PS 8.
Applications can be picked up from the School's Main Office.
