Election Day Bake Sale Redux

PS8 did its part on Election Day sustaining voters in the area with freshly baked treats throughout the entire day from 6am until 9pm. Parent Sharon Ullman headed up the effort with the support of Lucia Larson, Liz McKenna, and PTA Fundraising Chair, Natalie Fried. Over 70 parents joined to make the event a great success -- the event raised over $2000 for the PTA of PS8. Area businesses Fairway and Trader Joes contributed. Thanks to all the PS8 parents and Brooklyn friends and neighbors who helped staff and fill the table. And that doesn't even mention the voters!
