Winter Box Tops for Education collection is gearing up!
The PS 8 Winter Box Tops for Education collection is gearing up to begin next week. Last year we raised over $750 for the school. Start clipping and bagging, and don't forget to make product and clothing purchases through the boxtops4education.com website (not counted in the competition, but this money adds up fast for our school).
Please deposit box tops in the box by the school's main entrance (sometimes in the Parent Room). Be sure to write the class number, teacher name and student name on the baggy. The competition will run through the end of March 2009. The class that collects the most boxtops will win an afternoon ice cream party.
Ask your building super and family members to participate too. Anyone can shop on the Box Tops website. As long as they log in for PS 8, they will earn money for the school as well. If each child brings in 20 box tops, the school will earn $1000!
Look for Box Tops on all General Mills products, including: all Cheerios cereals, Betty Crocker products, Cascadian Farms, Chex cereals, Fiber One, Nature Valley products, Lucky Charms, Total Cereals, Wheaties, Pillsbury products, Green Giant Vegetables, Hamburger Helper, Old El Paso taco shells, Fruit Flavored Shapes and Ziploc bags, Huggies baby products, Saran wrap, Cottonelle products, Kleenex, Scott bath tissue, Scott and Viva paper towels, Hefty products, and more.
