Library Year-end Inventory
The PS 8 library is beginning its year-end inventory and we need your cooperation in order to complete this process before June 26th. Please assist your child with the timely return of his or her library books, magazines, videos, and audio books. There is a $3 fine for library materials which have been lost or damaged.
All library materials are due by June 12th!
In the weeks to come, students will receive a summer reading book list and sign up for the NYC Summer Reading Club, which has been made available through all public libraries in New York City. The PS 8 Library Website will be up and running all summer (just Google: "PS 8 Library"). Search online reference (World Book Online), play exciting educational games, and try out the search engines designed just for kids.
Finally, I would like to thank all of the families who made birthday book donations. In all, over 100 new books were added to the library's collection through your generosity. Thank you for your support!
