HEY! IT'S DAD'S NIGHT OUT on
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29!
We will be having PS 8's first "Dad's Night Out" (everyone is welcome!) on Thursday, October 29th at Floyd NY on Atlantic Avenue at 6:30 pm.
This is a great opportunity for parents to get out, meet and greet (or re-meet and re-greet, in many cases). Imagine discussing hot topics in childhood education all while drinking, watching sports and playing bocce.
The suggested donation is $20 (or $25 at the event). To pay in advance, simply go to the PS8 website, click the "Donate Now" button or drop a check payable to "PS 8 PTA" or cash in an envelope marked with your name in the marked box in the school office. With your donation, you will receive a bracelet upon arrival for drink discounts all night long!
Floyd NY is at 131 Atlantic Avenue (the North side of Atlantic ), between Henry and Clinton. Click on the link below for additional information. While Floyd NY does serve snacks, if you're really hungry, you can order food from the Chip Shop next door.
Please remember to bring your ID as Floyd NY has a strictly enforced carding policy.
