Double or triple your donations with our Matching Contribution Challenge
A generous PS8 parent has agreed to make a $20,000 donation to the PTA. However, there's a catch. So we need your help!
The $20,000 donation is a matching contribution challenge. This means it is contingent upon our raising $20,000 from PS8 families.
Here is how it works:
$- For every dollar in donations we receive from February 26-March 26 this donor will match that donation on a dollar-for-dollar basis.
$- In addition, donations from PS8 families who have not previously donated to the PTA general appeal will be matched 3-for-1.
If you've thought about donating to PS8, now is a great time to make that contribution. No donation is too small. As a new donor, a $25 donation becomes $75 and a $100 donation becomes $300!
Raising $332,000 is a big task, but without this money the PTA won't be able to fund all the great programs and purchase the supplies that help make PS8 such a wonderful place. Thus, we need as many PS8 families to participate.
To make an online donation, hit the "donate now" button on the homepage. Checks can be mailed to the PTA at 37 Hicks Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 or dropped off in the main office and put in Rolf Karl's box in the main office by Blake's desk. Be sure to find out if your company does corporate matching! Also, if you're a new donor to the general appeal, please note that on your donation so we can triple your contribution!
Be sure to check out the big "8" in the PS8 lobby. Each colorful 8 represents another $1,000 raised.
